FUNKY.sg™ started in 2012 when we spotted a simple gap — affordable powerbanks were hard to come by as smartphones took over daily life. What began as a home-based business, with customers collecting orders at void decks, slowly became something we never quite planned.
It grew with our life.
The shift to working from home led us to ergonomic desks and home office essentials. Starting a family led us to curating trusted, safety-vetted children's products — which is how MiDeer entered our store. A busy household led us to practical home organisation, kitchen storage and bedroom solutions. School mornings led us to glass and stainless steel lunchboxes, because we wouldn't sell what we wouldn't use ourselves.
That is still the rule today.
